Homemade Cheddar Bay Biscuits

If you have ever been to Red Lobster then you have probably had the pleasure of eating their amazing Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Even if you have not made it to Red Lobster and eaten their biscuits I'm sure you have heard of them before. This Homemade Cheddar Bay Biscuits recipe will allow those of you who already love these biscuits, and those of you who have never tried these biscuits, make them in your own home. This easy homemade bread recipe is extremely fast, and tastes just like the came out of the kitchen at Red Lobster.

Yields8 biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cup of Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 cup of cold water
  • 3/4 cup of shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1/2 stick stick of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a bowl, mix together the Bisquick, water, and shredded cheese.

  3. Turn the biscuits onto a floured surface and roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thick. Cut the dough with a biscuit cutter and place the biscuits on a baking sheet about2 inches apart.

  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

  5. Meanwhile, melt the butter with the seasonings in a small saucepan over low heat.

  6. Remove the lightly browned biscuits from the oven, brush the tops with the seasoned butter, and serve immediately.
