This Homemade Crouton recipe is the best way to keep from wasting stale bread. After baking, the bread comes out with the perfect crunch you can only find at the best restaurants. The crouton recipe is extremely simple and you can play around with using different seasonings. A little Parmesan cheese and garlic salt add the distinctive flavor you find on a restaurant's Caesar salad. These croutons will not get soggy too quickly like some croutons because they are freshly baked.
