- For the frappuccino
- 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1/4 cup water, cold
- 1 1/2 cup ice
- 3 tablespoons homemade vanilla simple syrup
- For the homemade simple syrup
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
To make the homemade simple syrup: Combine the water and sugar in a pan. Bring to a boil and cook until the sugar has dissolved, stirring frequently. Cool and stir in the vanilla extract.
To make the frappuccino: Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
