This homemade copycat recipe can bring these aromas into your home without a trip to the big city necessary. Making your own sugared nuts is simple and easy. Just be aware, the entire neighborhood will make their way into your kitchen. The simple snack recipe will satisfy all your cravings for a Christmas time treat at any time of the year. The caramelization on the nuts will give you the sugar fix needed during a long day.

I am not a fan of popcorn, but I am a big fan of the sugar sweetened nuts. Whenever we buy popcorn that has these nuts in them, I throw out the popcorn and only eat the nuts. Now there will be no more waste of popcorn from me because I can fix my very own snack but will probably have to hide it.

These little treats are intoxicating any time of the year, not just in the winter. They remind me of when I was younger and would just pick all the nuts out of a box of Cracker Jack because I didnt care for the popcorn. When I was younger I wished they had made Cracker Jack with only nuts. They sorta do now.

I have always wanted to make my own at home, so this recipe is definitely going on my list! I can't wait to give it a try.

These are one of my husbands favorite snacks. He will be so happy I came across this recipe. I saw another commenter mentioned to watch out for burning them. I will have to make sure I have no distractions when I make these. I hope they are as good as they look!

This sounds like a really delicious treat! I love the taste combination of sweet and salty and the crunch of the nuts would make this a really satisfying snack! These would be great on a cheese or fruit platter or even scattered among desserts on a tray. I would also serve these alongside antipasto for something sweet to go along with all the savoury. I'd like to experiment with different types of nuts - sounds great!

These are a great homemade snack that everybody loved at my weekly church group. I used peanuts, walnuts, and pecans but it was still economically making it myself compared to store bought or gourmet nut and chocolate shop. Just make sure you don't walk away from the stove or the oven. If they burn the slightest bit, they will be ruined.
