- 1/2 pound butter, softened
- 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 2 2/3 cups Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips

I always thought Neiman Marcus cc cookies were awesome, but now that I've made the Double Tree cc cookies, it's definitely a tie - these cookies are awesome!! Who would have thought that a little oatmeal would make such a difference. I make these every once in a while and ship them to my granddaughter in Oklahoma - THAT's how good they are!!!
