Start your morning with a great homemade frappuccino! This green tea frappuccino is just what you need to wake you up and have you feeling calm and ready for the day. Because of its health benefits, it's even better than Starbucks' green tea.

Health Benefits of Green Tea

While you're enjoying that green tea Frappuccino, you can sip with your mind at ease. Green tea has numerous health benefits that you may have never even been aware of. That frozen green tea latte that you're sipping can help assist you with weight loss because green tea increases metabolism. Your green tea Frap' may also reduce bad cholesterol in the blood, and it can destroy bacteria in the mouth that leads to tooth decay. Lovers of green tea may have also noticed that their blood pressure is down and their mood is up. That's because green tea ingredients include theanine, which is an amino acid that naturally produces a calming effect on the drinker's body. The next time you wonder, "What is green tea, and what can it do for me?" you might want to check in the mirror. If you notice that your skin is less wrinkly, thank the refreshing green beverage in your hand. Green tea, with its antioxidants, is probably responsible for that, too.

I didn't have vanilla syrup, so I used 2 Tbsp honey mixed with a little more than 1 Tbsp boiling waiter to make my own syrup. It worked pretty well! I love the green tea and honey combo.

I got mine online from Matchaccino and it tasted much better and more healthier than starbucks.

This looks delicious! I love coffee shop drinks, but they can get so expensive. Great to see a version I can make at home.

Shhhhh . . .don't let Starbucks know you've cracked the code. (It looks better than the original.)

I love Green Tea Frappucinos. It will be so nice not to pay $5 for them now!

This is perfect! Also that picture looks amazing!
