This Romantic Vintage Shrimp Bisque Recipe is so rich and creamy and full of elegant flavors. It is relatively easy to make, thanks to a well written step by step recipe. I worked as a waitress in a Greek diner back in the day and we always had shrimp bisque on the menu on Friday as the soup of the day. I haven't had it since then, so I am so glad to find this wonderful recipe where I can enjoy it anytime I want at home.

This is one of the most elegant soups and it has so much to offer. It has a creamy texture and beautiful pale pink color to supercharge its flavors. Lobster and crab are way too pricey for every day cooking especially to add to a soup. Shrimp is easy to come by, relatively inexpensive, and plentiful.
