Ingredients

  • 9 tortilla shells
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
  • 6 tablespoons bacon fat, warmed
  • 1/4 cup lime juice

Instructions

  1. Combine salt and lime juice in a bowl.

  2. Cut tortillas into triangles.

  3. Brush both sides of tortilla pieces with bacon fat.

  4. Brush both sides of tortilla pieces with lime juice mixture.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes – flipping over halfway. Enjoy!

I LOVE Chipotle's chips, so yes, I need to try this recipe! I can't wait to see how this recipe compares to the real deal.

Just the right chips to go with the guacamole recipe I got earlier and they are so easy using already prepared tortillas. I always thought they were fried never realized that they were baked so if you are making a large batch it may take some time but I would say it would be worth it. This recipe and the video is so good and easy to follow.I am going to make some and put Chicken,beans,sour cream and picante sauce on mine with shredded cheese and jalapeno peppers all over them. Yum Yum.
