The easy bagel recipe is doughy in all the right ways with the ultimate cinnamon topping. There is honey in the dough to give it a slight sweetness. We just ate at our local Panera Bread last week for my husbands birthday dinner. Actually it was for birthday dinner number one. His birthday celebrations tend to last about a week. Lucky guy. I am happy if I get one dinner. We both love Panera and these bagels are to die for. So yummy.

The topping on these bagels looks so delicious that one could use it for a whole bunch of other breakfast baked goods, or even desserts. I really would like to try this recipe, however I do not have one of those big stand mixers - I don't really do a lot of baking. Is there a way to do these without one?

What is pastry flour and where do you get it? These Panara Cinnamon Crunch bagel looks delicious. I love bagels but have never tried one from Panara. I have only eaten lunch there before. I bet this would be a home run served for a breakfast for family or friends. Thanks for the recipe.

I'm actually not a fan of Panera's bagels, but this recipe amps them up: the more cinnamon crunch, the better! Plus they're so much softer than when Panera's have been sitting out all day!
