Greet the day in the best possible way by starting out with the Garden Gate Scrambler. It's a light, yet filling breakfast option. This dish is can be served completely vegetarian, but add in a little sausage and you have early morning meal perfection. Show off your skills in the kitchen by creating this simple dish with a wealth of healthy ingredients and delicious flavors. It's an awesome way to get summer started.

Ingredients

  • 1 large white mushroom, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon red bell peppers, diced
  • 4-6 spinach leaves, shredded
  • 1 ounce chicken apple sausage, diced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon yellow cheddar, shredded

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs with a dash of salt and pepper in a bowl, set aside

  2. In a medium hot saute pan, saute mushroom and pepper in Extra Virgin Olive Oil for 1 Minute

  3. Add sausage and spinach, saute for another 30 seconds

  4. Add eggs and scramble until fully cooked. Stir continuously with a spatula to create fluffy eggs

  5. Remove from heat and fold in shredded cheese

  6. Serve with toasted multi-grain bread and fresh fruit
