I love to make a lot of things from scratch and why should cool whip be any different. I am sure the kids will love helping make something like this. All I have to do now is find that candy thermometer.

This is so cool. I never thought about making my own cool whip. I usually go for the heavy cream because it just tastes so good and of course it is ohh so bad. It is not like I have these ingredients on hand for if I need cool whip but it is nice to keep it just for future use if needed.
