"This Easy Oven Swiss Steak Recipe slowly cooks in a Dutch oven to give you the most tender steak and a tomato-based wonderful sauce. It is a great family meal that can also be easily done in your slow cooker too. Swiss Steak is pure comfort food and is wonderful as the days start to get cooler and you want to enjoy great family meals on a Sunday together. Swiss steak is traditionally made from a tough cut of beef like a round steak but we found some sirloin steaks that were very inexpensive and have used those also."
