Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham

"Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham will make your Easter brunch a total breeze with just three ingredients and no oven space to lose! Keep it plugged in and it will stay warm through your entire meal. Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham is a super last minute addition to our Easter meal around here because we had actually been planning on getting a Honeybaked ham! Growing up the flavor of Easter to me has always been that same familiar flavor. We would get there early to pick up our hams, fighting the crowds the whole way. Since moving a couple of years ago we haven’t been local to a store so I’ve been making my own and missing the old familiar flavors."

This Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham recipe is by far the simplest, most tasty, fool proof baked ham recipe there is. I followed the authors suggestion and added the brown sugar in stages, adding half at the start, and the remaining half thirty minutes before it was done. This is great for a big family dinner because you don't have to fuss over the ham, and you have all your oven space for side dishes, etc. Love this recipe.

As soon as I saw the title for this recipe I had to look. I used to love ham when it was cooked this way. This is from the 50's and is the way my Mom used to make it. She did not share this recipe but now, I have it and I can't wait to make it. I like the way the recipe suggests adding the brown sugar half at a time. It may burn and you don't want that. I will make it and use the left overs for other meals - if I do have leftovers. Thank you again.
