'Mad Men' Fettuccine Alfredo from Angelo's of Mulberry Street in New York City is a fettuccine Alfredo recipe similar to the one mentioned in a Season 3 episode of the hit AMC TV show. This New York restaurant recipe dates back to the 1960s.

Yields1 large serving
- 1/2 pound fettuccine
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 8 ounces heavy cream
- 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons Parmesan cheese, grated
- fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
Boil fettuccine in salted water according to package directions.
Strain fettuccine and place in skillet.
Add all other ingredients and sautÃ© over low heat until thick, about 2 minutes.
Serve with fresh cracked pepper.
