I am from the south but I guess not the part of the south that fried pickles are prevalant. When traveling, I did have the opportunity to try them and they were just okay to me. My sons on the other hand thought that they were terrific. Now I can make them at home just for them.

My first experience with fried pickles came from a Cajun restaurant and I was over the moon with them. I have a love for cucumbers and any thing they are made from. So when I saw this on the menu I was thrilled and not disappointed at all. I have to admit I never thought about making these myself until now.
