Thvege addition of the sausage gravy makes the difference in this recipe. Once in awhile I have to have my "sausage fix" and this will do it. After all the peppers do add the vegetable element ( LOL). Plus a nice egg on top of this just adds a nice touch. I am getting hungry just thinking about the whole meal. Thank you for the recipe.

You can tell that this is an older recipe. Back in the day, health didnt seem to be as important and all the diets consisted of similar recipes. Now people are much more health conscious so there are lots of different options out there from low fat to vegan to tweak all the old recipes.
