I can not wait to try this copy of Cheez Wiz! I love Cheez Wiz and used to make a salsa and cheese wiz dip every time we had a party in the 80's. I can't get the real thing where I live now, so this is going to be great to be able to whip this up any time.

Cheez Wiz use to be my go to cheese when I was first learning how to cook. Now that I have a few cooking skills under my belt it has been a long time since I have even bought a jar of this stuff. It is great to know that I can make it myself if I need it though.

How much cornstarch do you use in the Cheez Wiz recipe?

It looks like 1/4 teaspoon if I am reading the directions clearly.

Everyone knows that fresh is always better and even though cheese is not the best product to eat preparing it yourself you get an item that will not last forever on a store shelf. I like fresh and my kids would get this eaten up in a few days.
