Double animal style or even just animal style is a term I have never heard used before in a recipe. These burgers look very moist. I had planned on making meatloaf for dinner, but now I am going to change it up a bit and make double animal style meatloaf instead. I cant wait to taste this.

In transferring this over from the original site, there was a mistake made. Animal style is mustard grilled, not ketchup. My wife loves grilled onions, though we usually start with sliced, not chopped. This is a good burger recipe and I'll give it a try. The recipe for the special sauce is a bit different than some of the other copycats I've seen. Same ingredients, but just different proportions. I'll have to give this particular one a go and see how it stacks up to my memory.

In Animal style, the burgers are actually cooked in mustard, not ketchup.
