The Pioneer Woman's Restaurant Salsa Copycat

There is an unmistakable difference between store-bought and homemade food, mostly stemming from using fresher ingredients and controlling the ratio of everything. Once you see how easy this homemade salsa is, you'll never buy the jarred stuff again! The Pioneer Woman's Restaurant Salsa Copycat recipe tastes just like the salsa you'd be served in an authentic Mexican restaurant. It is smooth, spicy, and bursting with fresh lime and cilantro. This salsa recipe makes a large batch, so you can enjoy it with chips, on enchiladas, or tacos.

I often make salsa in the summer time in big batches and preserve it. I always use fresh tomatoes in September and my recipe calls for cooking the salsa down. I'm eager to try this recipe since I bet it has a really fresh taste. I like the convenience of being able to use tinned tomatoes since I could mix up fresh salsa on a moments' notice. I wonder if anyone has tried making this in a bigger batch or canning it? Can't wait to try this one!

I will try this, because I have some time.......
