Copycat Crispy Green Beans with Lemon Garlic Sauce

This copycat restaurant recipe was inspired by a starter on the Applebee's menu. These Green Bean Crispers are sure to make you eat your vegetables because they are downright delicious. This recipe also includes instructions for a creamy lemon garlic sauce that perfectly complements the green beans. Beer-battered green beans make a great appetizer weather you need some greens to serve with your dinner, or you want to make an appetizer for when you watch the next big game with family and friends.

I think that any kind a treat if it is fried! Despite being fried, they are still much healthier for you than regular French fries. They have more nutrition and are not starchy, so they don't absorb nearly as much oil as a potato. I found the batter to be just a little bit thin (maybe they took the foam into account when giving the beer measurement) so I just fixed it by adding more flour until it seemed right.

I meant "any kind of vegetable is a treat" For some reason when I type on this site it acts slow, the cursor has some kind of lag time and it doesn't get everything. Sorry!

These are a vegetarian's dream come true! I love when I can find easy appetizers that don't include meat and are still super tasty. Glad to have found these.

Delicious. I love that I don't have to go out to a restaurant in order to try these.

I've had these at Applebee's and I've always wanted to know how to make them! These are so easy! Just 4 ingredients and 10 minutes. I haven't ever fried green beans like this, so I'm curious to see how it will turn out!
