"Thanks for the recipes and the memories! I can't for the life of me remember the name of the place that made them or even the name of the sandwich itself, but way back in the 80s I loved to order a small sub that was cooked on a grill right in front of you. It had ham and a little pineapple that was chopped up as it was cooked then served on a toasted bun with lettuce tomato and mayo. There was probably another ingredient as well, but my old brain can't seem to find that file!"

"I found a cookie just like this at a healthy food store. I knew I had to try and copy it. After many tries, I was so happy how delicious and similar these were to the original ones. These cookies are made with all healthy ingredients and still are so decadent tasting. My kids and husband love these and don’t believe me when I tell them they are made with quinoa. Quinoa seems to be the new love in the grains department yet, it's not a grain. Been around forever but, recently got very popular. Never would think you can make a delicious dessert made with this wonder food but, yes you can. Bake a batch today and see and taste for yourself. Everyone who you make these for will love them. No one will know they are made with quinoa, only you. Enjoy every last bite of the chocolaty gems."
