In-N-Out Burger Animal Sauce Copycat Recipe

"In-N-Out Burger Spread is the delicious "secret" sauce that is used on all burgers and topped on Animal Style Fries. Easy to make and tastes exactly the same! In-N-Out Burger Spread may sometimes be confused with regular 1000 Island dressing but the truth is that with just a few ingredients you can have an actual honest to goodness copycat. I should know something about these copycats, I actually made this dipping sauce as part of my original In-N-Out copycat posts. But then I would get emails asking if I was going to share the sauce recipe (it was in the post, just not highlighted enough)."

Living on the East Coast, my visits to In-N-Out Burger have sadly been restricted to my occasional forays out west. This sauce reminds me a lot of the McDonald Big Mac sauce, plus a sauce used on a similar burger to the Big Mac that was sold by a regional chain when I lived in Baltimore. I seem to think it actually predated the Big Mac. Anyway, it's a tasty sauce and a notch above the Thousand Island sauce I've used before in a pinch.

I have always wanted to try an Animal Style burger from In-N-Out, but I don't live anywhere near a location. Luckily I can just make it at home with this recipe!
