This summer I had the opportunity to make a few batches of ice cream but none of them with nuts. I read the directions for this yummy dish and I can not wait for the next chance I get to pull out the ice cream maker. I hope the kids will not like it so that I can have it all to myself.

So my all time favorite ice cream is black walnut and this picture looks just like it. I see that this recipe is for walnut maple so I am sure it is not what I am thinking it will be but I am willing to give it a go.
