This recipe is almost identical to a peanut butter ball recipe that my family has been making for as long as I can remember. The ingredients are the same. This is just a smaller batch and different shape. I make them every year to have for Christmas company. They are delicious! They are better than Reese! My husband steals them while they are being made, and my boys sneak them out of the tins. By the time Christmas rolls around they are gone! They are excellent covered with dark chocolate or white chocolate as well.

I didn't realize how easy this would be! Wow. The fact that I can make this in half an hour is even better. YES.

I'm always looking for ways to make treats from scratch and I can't believe I've never come across this recipe! I love all the options that are given with recipe, including the option to use homemade peanut (or other nut) butter or even to swap out the butter for coconut oil. With this recipe I can make a family favourite Easter treat alot healthier - I can't wait to try it!!

I love the peanut butter eggs, but I always feel the ratio of peanut butter to chocolate isn't quite right. I can't wait to try this recipe on my own!
