The Tovolo Summer Ice Trays are just what you need in order to add a little extra flair at your next party. This trio of ice trays makes penguin, owl, and anchor shaped pieces of ice.
The silicone ice molds all make 4 large pieces of ice. I was surprised that the trays are made to balance so well. Even though they have oblong shapes, they still rest flat in your freezer. The material makes it extremely easy to pop out the pieces when they are frozen. It also makes cleaning the molds more simple than a plastic tray since they are so flexible.
The large ice is great for keeping a drink cold for a long amount of time. I found the ice to melt slower than a traditional cube. This is also nice for not diluting a cocktail.
These ice trays add just the right amount of "kitschy" fun to a party. Kids will love the owl and penguin shapes, while the anchors can go really well with a nautical-themed party or any summer party.
